Job Description

1. The Design Engineer role involves working on enquiries/ RFQs/ tenders on Bellows, Hose, pressure parts, structural assemblies, Fittings obtained from existing and prospective customers
2. The engineer has to perform hand calculations (empirical) involving principles of Applied Mechanics, Manufacturing Processes, Thermodynamics taught in Mechanical Engineering.
3. The engineer after finalizing the design will draft the proposed solution using Autocad. Basic Stress analysis using Solidworks
4. The design engineer will attend to customer clarifications, spec changes, customer request for additional information and is responsible for obtaining design package approval.
5.The design engineer will participate in production planning, R&D, quality planning as part of the manufacturing of the order.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, or similar

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances

  • Basic knowledge of FEA and simulation tools is an advantage

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
