Key Accountabilities
Main Tasks -
Education/ Experiences: B.E. Mechanical with 12 Years’ Experience in Mechanical maintenance and min 5 years in leading a team in a Chemical/Petrochemical unit and preferably from Dyes manufacturing plant.

Main Tasks -
- Responsible for Plant mechanical maintenance & selection of required equipment or component for new application/modifications, erection activities.
- Specific Equipment Knowledge for preventive/reactive maintenance of Reactor, Sprayer dryers with Bag filters, Pumps, Blowers, Compressors, Cooling towers, AVPF, FP, Ice plants/Chillers, Filter presses, Air compressors, Multi effect evaporator, using ammonia and other refrigerants, Blenders, Nauta Mixers and Packaging machine along with Trouble Shouting.
- Ensure operation of Pressure Safety Valves, Pressure Vessels, Dykes, EHS/PSM Critical equipment’s etc.- Test & inspection schedule follow.
- Responsible of developing and executing WSE/inspection plans.
- Inventory management of critical spares control as per the budget.
- Prepare Maintenance budget with respect to area allotted.
- To ensure compliance to Regulatory norms – Gujarat Factory Act Compliance.
- Well experienced in terms of leading safe erection and commissioning of various equipment.
- Responsible of executing Management of change/Pre-start up safety procedure/ Mechanical Integrity and other procedures as a part of work in his area of working.
- People/work allocation Management
- Leading Root cause Analysis/FMEA and own relevant actions
- Developing and executing Maintenance procedures
- Training team and sub-ordinates.
- Plan and execute equipment painting program in designated working area.
- Developing performance plan of sub-ordinates.
- Follow Sixty Sec checks, Safety Interactions, JSA, Permit procedures
- PM & Other Maintenance of Plant & EHS critical Equipment
- Supporting & Guiding Technician team as when required
- Preparing AMC/ARC proposals & sow`s for Job planning & co-ordination with stake holders along with, Timely submission of MS & Invoices
- Involvement in Project Execution activities
- To ensure compliance of site procedures (Engineering/PSM/EHS).
- Procurement through Material Code, Inspection of inward material, Work Order system to follow
- Skill Mapping of Technicians & Promote for training for upgradation.
- Vendor Evaluation to provide TCS for major functional Procurement.
- Actively participate in Cost saving projects, Kaizen and departmental targets
- Timely Closure of actions MOA/ EHS/PSM/FM Global/MI/CAPA & carry out RCA for all failures

Know-how/skills
- Exposure to QMS 9001:2015
- Fluent in English and local language
- Computer skill: Well versed with Microsoft Offices, Visio and QC tools, SAP.
- Preparation of Management Information Report
- Working Knowledge of SAP- Ariba is added advantage
- Analytical skill
- Well versed with principles of Process safety management.
- Actively seek to improve safety work culture.
- Good Analytical skills.
- Competency Specific equipment in Utilities
- Knowledge and hands on experience of Mechanical Rotary and static equipment like Pumps, Blowers, Cooling towers, Compressor, Valves, Piping, couplings, belts, Sprayer dryer, Cooling towers, Reactor, Agitator, filter press.
- Working knowledge of SAP Quality Module, PSM & Safety standards will be added advantage
