Mechanical Engineer Job in Akshyan Power Solutions Pvt Ltd at Noida-Others, Noida

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D CAD Design & Engineering Drawing

• Develop detailed 3D models of parts, assemblies, and fixtures using CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or similar software.

• Generate 2D fabrication and assembly drawings with GD&T and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

• Perform design revisions and maintain version control of design files.

• Create animations and exploded views to assist in assembly and customer presentations.

2. Product & Tool Design

• Design jigs, fixtures, housings, custom components, and automation solutions for industrial machinery.

• Ensure designs are manufacturable and optimized for performance, strength, cost, and efficiency.

• Conduct tolerance analysis and stress analysis (manually or using simulation software, if required).

3. Manufacturing Process Support

• Collaborate with in-house and external CNC machining and conventional fabrication teams to translate designs into real parts.

• Create and review manufacturing drawings to ensure accurate part production.

• Provide input on material selection, surface finishes, tolerances, and production methods.

• Oversee or assist in prototyping, testing, and assembling products or subassemblies.

4. Industrial Automation Development

• Work closely with automation and controls engineers to develop mechanical systems for automated industrial processes.

• Design mechanical integration for robotic arms, actuators, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Participate in testing and iteration of automation solutions on shop floor or client site.

5. Documentation & Technical Reports

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, project reports, and manuals.

• Ensure project files are organized, labeled, and easily accessible for team collaboration.

• Maintain a database of part models and standard components for future re-use.

6. Collaboration & Project Management

• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams including electrical, electronics, control systems, and procurement.

• Manage timelines for design and manufacturing tasks as per project requirements.

• Communicate with vendors, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure part feasibility and delivery.
