Qualifications:-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
Role And Responsibilities:-
Extend capability for the design of tools and fixtures, if any, to enable the handling, assembly /disassembly of components and sub-assemblies.
Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfill requirements.
Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.
Work with cross-functional teams for extended design roles for simulation requirements.
Able to interpret simulation data and provide valuable solutions for further optimizations.
Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
Writing technical documentation for machine operators.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Good exposure to structural and thermal design considerations
Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations.
Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
Good understanding of cable assemblies, ECAD/MCAD integrations
Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations
Hands-on experience in Designing electromechanical products
Experience in working with EV Battery chargers/EV Systems will be desirable
Good exposure to UL/IEC and related standards.
Experience on UL1741 will be an added advantage
Designing new components and products, sometimes as a sole contributor but often as part of a team of contributors
Good Exposure to DFX for high-volume production
Reviewing and analyzing solutions to achieve the best outcome for performance/cost/schedule
Testing proofs-of-concept and prototypes for performance
Failure analysis and root cause identification
Good exposure to prototype techniques for Design development and verification
Component review and approval, including global travel to be on-site at vendors during pre-production
Generating own (and reviewing othersâ) documentation, including concept proposals, analysis reports, component specifications, review minutes
Ensure quality by design
Good Exposure to plastics, Sheetmetal, casting part design and manufacturing process
Expertise in SolidWorks and EPDM. Knowledge of any other CAD packages will be an added advantage
