Mechanical Engineering Drafting Jobs in Chennai - Planys Technologies Private Limited

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Coordinate with the engineering team to create and update CAD PDM Vault as per the internal standards
2. Ensures that his or her drafting is of the highest quality and organized in accordance with company design standards
3. Develop knowledge towards existing systems and processes and assist in ideation on improving the system
4. Work in close association with the product development team in the creation of BOMs, technical drawings for existing and upcoming products
5. Work on meticulously documenting the processes and BOM during the CAD depository refinement activity
6. Create and verify completeness of drawings and assure conformance to the standard drafting procedures of applicable specifications and that all documents called out on drawings are released and are currently in effect under supervision, prioritizes workload based on project team requirements/priorities, and drives consistency in support across CAD design team
7. Coordinate with the manufacturing team to create detailed layouts prior to manufacturing, and assist in creating technical drawings, manufacturing aiding data with respect to DFM within deadlines, and utilizing multiple methods to ensure deliverables
8. Work on fully complying with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations
