Job Description

About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Model, modify and simulate kinematic chains
2. Work on FEM/FEA simulations of the said kinematic chain
3. Prepare FMEA and testing reports
4. Prototype the said kinematic chain components using additive manufacturing
5. Meet task schedules

Lab/Affiliation: CPDM, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

  • Autodesk Inventor
  • ANSYS
  • Autodesk Fusion 360

    Other requirements

    1. Knowledge of using CAD, SOLIDWORKS/Autodesk Fusion 360/Inventor, and dynamic motion simulations

    2. Knowledge of FEA/FEM multiphysics simulations and additive manufacturing

    3. Good documentation skills

    4. Must be a team player (the nature of work demands coordination with several people involved in the project)

    5. Previous experience working with medical devices
