Job Description

ONLY DIPLOMA QUALIFIED CANDIDATES ACCEPTED GULF EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Candidates Must have 3-5 Years of Maintenance Exp. in Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Repairs:

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults using visual inspections, measurement tools, and vibration or temperature monitoring systems.
Replace or repair faulty parts such as bearings, seals, gaskets, valves, belts, and gear assemblies.

2. Installation & Commissioning:

Assist in the installation and alignment of new mechanical equipment, including mounting, leveling, and bolting machinery in place.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, machine manuals, and technical specifications for accurate assembly and installation.
Support equipment commissioning and conduct trial runs to ensure proper functioning.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspection, and adjustments.
Use predictive maintenance tools like thermography, ultrasonic testing, or oil analysis to detect early signs of failure.
Keep accurate records of inspections and services performed for audit and planning purposes.

4. Equipment Overhaul and Rebuilds:

Overhaul large components such as pumps, compressors, and gearboxes.
Disassemble equipment to replace worn-out parts and reassemble it to manufacturer standards.
Perform dynamic balancing and alignment of rotating equipment when necessary.

5. Piping, Welding, and Fabrication Support:

Perform basic pipefitting tasks such as cutting, threading, and assembling pipes and flanges.
Assist welders or perform basic welding (if qualified) during equipment modifications or installations.
Fabricate brackets, supports, or mechanical fixtures as required for equipment support.

6. Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety standards such as OSHA, ISO, or site-specific guidelines.
Identify and report any unsafe working conditions or practices.

7. Reporting & Coordination:

Maintain daily logs of work completed, spare parts used, and machine status updates.
Communicate clearly with engineers, supervisors, and production staff regarding job progress or machinery status.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize breakdowns.
