Media & Public Relations (PR) Job in Shashikant Rural Development Foundation

Shashikant Rural Development Foundation (SRDF) is a non-profit organization established in the year 2019 and registered under Section 8 of the companies act, 2013 in Andhra Pradesh. SRDF is run by a small group of young professionals with a strong passion for changing society as it is today and building a better India for tomorrow. The organization provides socially conscious students and young professionals a platform to serve society and to bridge the gap between the learned and the unlearned through education. SRDF is focussed on alleviating poverty and social exclusion. We do this through well-planned and comprehensive programs in health, education, livelihoods, and disaster preparedness and response. Our overall goal is the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalized communities, leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods. Now, the organization is functioning in India covering with 3 states, i.e. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Maharashtra.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.

2. Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.

3.Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media.

4. Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.

5. Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis.

6. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.

7. Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness

8. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
