JOB DESCRIPTION:

   Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    The ideal candidate is responsible for coding patient charts to capture hierarchical chronic conditions and assigning appropriate diagnosis codes from medical records within guidelines established by CMS

ELIGIBILITY:

1.       Candidates with any bachelor’s degree having some basic knowledge in anatomy and physiology.

2.       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook.

3.       Ability to work in a fast-past, deadline driven environment.

4.       Must be self-motivated, responsive and committed to communicating and collaborating with the team on a regular basis to foster a common understanding of team objectives
