About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Extract information from documentation and assign appropriate codes
2. Ensure codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with guidelines
3. Follow up with supervisor on any documentation that is insufficient or unclear
4. Ensure that all codes are current and active
5. Ensure compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines
6. Maintain the confidentiality of information

Other requirements
1. Candidates having graduated with any health science background can apply
2. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is required
