Medical Coder Job Description
Medical Coding involves translating verbal medical descriptions into standardized numeric or alphanumeric codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Efficient Medical Coders are essential for healthcare providers to comply with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Anatomy and Physiology
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Age: Below 29 years
- Educational Eligibility: Diploma, UG, PG in Life Sciences or Paramedical fields
