About the internship

We are developing a rapid Antimicrobial susceptibility test (AST) platform to reduce the time gap between sample collection and susceptibility detection. Our vision is to provide high-quality affordable healthcare solutions to combat AMR. The current position is for a mechanical engineer to develop a medical diagnostic device.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on tabrication of selected modules of the device
2. Testing and refinement of the integrated platform
3. Developing design documents for mechanical parts & final products
4. Conducting research, documents finding, and presenting reports in the meetings

Other requirements

1. Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering

2. Fresher or 1+ years experience with hands-on design and development of medical devices, medical diagnostics, or a similar field is required

3. Good knowledge of basic mechanical engineering & electronics

4. Experience in design using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA)

5. Knowledge of Microcontrollers, PLCs, etc.
