Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Phlebotomist located in Budigere Cross, Bengaluru - 560049. The Certified Phlebotomist will carry out blood collection procedures, prepare specimens for laboratory testing, and ensure adherence to medical protocols and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Phlebotomy / Home Collection Duties:
- Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
- Visit patients’ homes for sample collection as per schedule.
- Verify patient information to ensure correct labeling and accurate documentation.
- Collect blood and other specimens following proper safety and hygiene protocols.
- Label, handle, and transport samples accurately to the laboratory.
- Maintain patient comfort and ensure professional, courteous service.
- Record and report daily collections and coordinate with lab staff.
Skills & Requirements:
- Qualification: DMLT / BMLT
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Phlebotomy in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Technical Skills: Blood collection, labeling, basic computer skills, MS Office
- Soft Skills: Good communication, empathy, punctuality, multitasking ability
- Additional Requirement: Two-wheeler + Valid driving license
