Medical Officer / Instructor / Band Master /Music Teacher Job vacancies in Sainik School, Kodagu
(a) Medical Officer /1 Post
Essential: MBBS Degree with minimum 3 years of medical experience of treating children of age group 10 -18 years. Desirable. The following criterion are desirable:- (i) Working experience (full-time / part-time / contractual basis) at Residential Public Schools. (ii) Updated medical knowledge (iii) Should be able to take responsibility of the School Infirmary (iv) Should be ready to attend to medical emergencies round the clock.
(b) Craft & Workshop Instructor /1 Post
Essential: Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Two years trade certificate from recognized Industrial Training Centre (iii) Ability to teach through English Medium. Desirable. Minimum 3 years teaching experience as Craft Instructor in any reputed institution. Having proficiency in Games / Sports and other extra co-curricular activities.
(c) Band Master /Music Teacher /1 Post
Essential (for Band Master).Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Panchmari OR Equivalent Naval / Air Force Courses. Desirable (for Band Master). Minimum 3 years Teaching experience as Band Master in any reputed institution. Having proficiency in Games / Sports and other extra co-curricular activities / hobbies. Essential (for Music Teacher). Graduate in / with Music OR Higher Secondary with a degree or diploma in music from any recognized institution. Desirable (for Music Teacher). (i) Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English Medium Institutions (ii) Proficiency in Games / Sports and other extra co-curricular activities/ hobbies (iii) Additional qualifications in the Music filed will be given preference.
Age As on 01 Sep 17, for the post of Medical Officer 18 to 50 years and for Craft Instructor & Band Master 21 to 35 years respectively.
