Job Description
Operational:
· Shall lead the team for patient service delivery and effective functioning of MMU.
· Provide 24 field services or ‘trips’ as per approved schedule, with full staff: 24 in every calendar month including all Saturdays and Sundays.
· Be available for minimum 6 hours of patient consultation service between 9AM -5 PM on each ‘trip’ day.
· Ensure all patient records including prescriptions are updated online - 100%
· Attend meetings with authorities as required -100%
· Ensure bio-metrics attendance are recorded 4 times daily.
· Supervise the staff to ensure
1) all necessary arrangements are made at the spot and the services are commenced at the designated service spots within the agreed time.
2) all relevant registers and forms are filled up and timely reports are generated.
3) Indenting is completed in time and sufficient stock of drugs and consumables are available for patient services.
· Perform any other patient care services entrusted by the authorities and approved by the Company
Clinical
· Shall be responsible for the effective implementation of Primary, Preventive, Curative, Diagnostic and Promotive Health Care Services along with emergency First Aid care services to the people in the designated area.
· Ensure that all patients are registered, examined, subjected to necessary lab investigations, counselled, treated and provided necessary medicines and are regularly followed up.
· Shall refer patient cases to nearest health facility for further management, keeping suitable records regarding the same, after issuing a clear descriptive referral slips.
· Shall take immediate appropriate actions during outbreaks of diseases, epidemics etc. and inform concerned MOIC. at PHC and concerned administrative office at Block and District level (through District Supervisor) regarding the same.
· Should render adequate assistance as DHS directions and maintain record of the same.
· Shall liaison with village health and sanitation committee, elected representatives and local authorities, in order to mobilize and counsel the local people for uptake of better service delivery.
