Medical Officer recruitment in Department of Health &  Family Welfare - Govt. of West Bengal on Contract basis

Department of Health &  Family Welfare recruiting 32 Vacancies for the post of Medical Officer

No. of vacancies : 32 ( UR-15, SC-8, ST-2, OBC-A-3, OBC-B-3, PWD-1)

Essential Qualification: M.D in Pathology or Transfusion Medicines Or M.B.B.S. with Diploma in Pathology or Transfusion Medicines or M.B.B.S. (Candidates who are going to complete or completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship by 31.3.17 may also apply for the post. Such applicants must submit the temporary/provisional Registration Certificate from the State Medical Council/ MCI at the time of Walk In Interview. The permanent Registration Number must be submitted before issuance of engagement orders)

Desirable Experience : a) Adequate knowledge in Blood Group serology, blood group methodology, & medical principles involved in the procurement of blood and/ or preparation of its components in case of candidates having M.D in Pathology or Transfusion Medicines or M.B.B.S. with Diploma in Pathology or Transfusion Medicines .b) Working experience in blood bank for 1 year & also has adequate knowledge & experience in Blood Group serology, blood group methodology, & medical principles involved in the procurement of blood and/ or preparation of its components in case of candidates having qualification of M.B.B.S. only.

Age as on 01.01.2017 : 50 Yrs

Remuneration : Rs.40000 per month
