Job Description
Job Summary
The Medical Officer will be responsible for attending to patients through online consultations, primarily focusing on preventive healthcare, lifestyle modification, wellness guidance, and holistic healing practices. The ideal candidate should be a qualified medical professional who believes in the principles of integrative medicine and can comfortably conduct video or teleconsultations from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, six days a week.
This is a non-emergency, advisory-based clinical role, ideal for doctors interested in lifestyle medicine, Ayurveda-integrated care, naturopathy, mind-body wellness, or similar disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Consultations (Online)

Attend scheduled patient consultations via video or phone platforms (Zoom, WhatsApp, in-app, etc.).

Take thorough case histories, understand symptoms, and provide guidance from a holistic care perspective.

Offer personalized lifestyle advice including diet, sleep, exercise, stress management, and natural remedies.

Prescribe wellness supplements or therapies (if applicable and in line with the clinic’s offerings).
2. Patient Education and Follow-Up

Educate patients on wellness practices, prevention strategies, and natural health routines.

Follow up with patients regarding progress, compliance, and any further guidance needed.

Ensure clarity and empathy in all communication, particularly for first-time patients.
3. Collaboration with Wellness Team

Coordinate with wellness coaches, therapists, nutritionists, or Ayurvedic consultants as needed for integrative care.

Refer patients internally for additional services (yoga therapy, mental health support, detox programs, etc.).
4. Documentation and Compliance

Maintain accurate and timely digital records of each consultation.

Ensure all documentation follows ethical, legal, and privacy guidelines.

Use the clinic’s digital platform or EMR software for patient history and prescriptions.
Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: MBBS / BAMS / BHMS / BUMS / BNYS or equivalent recognized by relevant medical councils.

Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.

Strong interest or experience in wellness, lifestyle medicine, preventive care, or holistic therapies.

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with video consultation platforms.
