Medical Officer/ Specialist Medical Officer (Gynaecologist)/ Nursing Staff / Assistants  job recruitment in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) on contract basis

Medical Officer

No. of Post :  1 (male/lady)

Qualifications :  MBBS and must have completed rotating internship for one year and should be in possession of a valid registration certificate(MCI or State Medical Council), followed by at least 3 years of experience in a recognized hospital, OR Post-Graduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medical Science plus at least one year experience in a recognized hospital, OR MD, or MS, in an appropriate branch of Medical Science.

Desirable :  Post Graduate qualification MD/Diploma Degree in Medicine/ Gynaecology

Remuneration :  Rs. 60,000/-pm

Maximum Age Limit :  65 years

Selection Process : On the basis of a personal interview at IISER Kolkata.

Specialist Medical Officer (Gynaecologist)

No. of Post : 1  (preferably lady)

Qualifications :  Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS Obs & Gyn) from a recognized university including completion of compulsory rotating internship. Minimum three years of experience in the professional work after obtaining degree.Where suitable candidate with PG degree are not available, PG Diploma holder with five years of experience in the professional work in reputed hospital related to concerned specialization after obtaining PG Diploma will be accepted.

Maximum Age Limit : 65 years

Remuneration : Rs. 4,000-5,000/- (negotiable) for two hours

Visit frequency  : Once in a week (The frequency of visit may be extended to twice in a week as per requirement)

Selection Process : On the basis of a personal interview at IISER Kolkata.

Nursing Staff / Assistants

No. of Post :  1 (The number of post may increase as per Institute requirement)

Qualifications :  (a) Must have passed intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent certificate examination. (b) Must have passed the examination held by the Nursing Council with three years course in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) OR BSc in Nursing from a recognized university OR with DMN, Dip/Class I NAC Armed Forces with verifiable experience. (c) Candidate should have registered with Indian Nursing Council or from respective State Nursing Council.

Experience :  At least one (1) year of experience in the recognized hospital after passing nursing with valid registration number. Any experience before the Nursing registration date will not be considered for this purpose

Remuneration : Rs.25,000 – 30,000/- pm based on the work experience and performance in interview

Age Limit : 21 - 55 years (as on 1st December 2018)
