Medical Physicist job recruitment in Government Medical College & Hospital Chandigarh
Name of Post : Medical Physicist
Educational Qualification:
i) A Post Graduate Degree in Physics from a Recognized University.
ii) A Post M.Sc Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics from Recognized University; AND
iii) An Internship of minimum 12 months in a Recognized Well-equipped Radiation Therapy Department. OR
i) A Basic Degree in Science from a Recognized University, with Physics as one of the main subjects.
ii) A Post Graduate Degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a Recognized University; AND
iii) An Internship of minimum 12 months in a Recognized Well-equipped Radiation Therapy Department.
Pay Scale: INR Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5000/-
Age Limit: 37 years.
Fee : Rs. 500/- & Rs. 250/- for SC candidates (non-refundable)

The defacto Government Medical College was started in the Prayaas building, Sector 38, Chandigarh after the foundation stone laying ceremony was performed by the former Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Chandra Shekhar on 20 January, 1991 in Sector 32 on the quilt of 36.09 acre of land allotted by the Chandigarh Administration
