We are urgently hiring for the following positions at our Siliguri Headquarters:
Open Position:Medical Representative (MR) – GP, CP & Ortho Segments
Location: Siliguri & nearby North Bengal territories
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in relevant segment (GP/CP/Ortho)
Strong network with doctors and chemists in the region
Target-oriented with good communication & team management skills
Salary: Negotiable for the position

Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Promotion & Marketing
-
Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to general practitioners, specialists, hospitals, and chemists.

Present product features, benefits, and therapeutic uses confidently to doctors and medical professionals.

Answer queries related to the product, dosage, efficacy, side effects, etc., in alignment with medical guidelines and company policies.
2. Territory Management
-
Cover the assigned geographic area efficiently, ensuring regular visits to clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.

Plan daily and weekly fieldwork schedules and maintain a systematic record of visits.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the territory and report back with insights.
3. Sales & Target Achievement
-
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and prescription targets.

Ensure product availability at retail and hospital pharmacies.

Coordinate with stockists, distributors, and chemists to ensure uninterrupted supply chain and demand generation.
4. Relationship Building
-
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and key decision-makers.

Organize and conduct CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), doctor meetings, or product demonstration sessions.

Maintain a professional image and uphold the company's brand reputation in all interactions.
5. Reporting & Documentation
-
Submit daily call reports, doctor coverage lists, and activity summaries to the Area Sales Manager.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, product detailing, and orders.

Participate in periodic performance reviews, sales meetings, and training programs.
6. Product Knowledge & Training
-
Stay updated on the company’s product line, newly launched molecules, competitor products, and industry developments.

Attend internal training sessions, seminars, and product launches organized by the company.

Understand the pharmacology and therapy areas of the promoted products (e.g., anti-biotics, pain relievers, chronic care medicines, etc.).
