Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated, persuasive, and knowledgeable Medical Representative to join our pharmaceutical sales team. As a Medical Representative, you will be the key link between our company and healthcare professionals (HCPs), promoting our range of pharmaceutical products and driving prescription generation. Your primary responsibility will be to meet with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff to present and promote the company’s products, answer their questions, and influence their prescribing behavior in line with company goals and ethical guidelines.
This is a field-based role that requires strong interpersonal skills, a good understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to communicate complex scientific information in a clear and convincing manner. You will play a vital role in increasing product awareness, boosting sales revenue, and contributing to the company’s overall growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Promotion and Sales:
Promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, specialists, and healthcare providers. Explain product benefits, indications, dosages, and potential side effects using scientifically accurate data and sales strategies. -
Territory Management:
Manage and grow sales within a designated geographical area. Maintain a daily call plan to cover clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies. Keep detailed records of all customer interactions and sales visits. -
Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with healthcare professionals. Provide timely product information, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. -
Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and objectives. Monitor competitor activities and adapt sales strategies accordingly. -
Reporting and Feedback:
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on field activity, doctor coverage, and competitor feedback. Report market trends, product performance, and customer feedback to the sales manager. -
Product Training & Knowledge:
Continuously update your knowledge of medical products, diseases, treatment protocols, and industry trends. Attend internal training sessions, product briefings, and sales meetings. -
Marketing Support:
Distribute marketing materials, product samples, and promotional items. Participate in medical conferences, camps, and awareness programs organized by the company. -
Compliance & Ethics:
Adhere strictly to company policies, medical regulations, and ethical standards. Ensure that all promotional practices are compliant with applicable laws and guidelines.
