Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Promotion and Sales:

Promote and sell assigned pharmaceutical products to doctors, specialists, general practitioners (GPs), and pharmacies.

Explain product benefits, mechanisms of action, usage guidelines, and potential side effects in a medically accurate and convincing manner.

Increase product awareness and usage through one-on-one doctor visits, group meetings, and CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs.
2. Territory Management:

Plan daily schedules to effectively cover the assigned territory, ensuring regular visits to healthcare professionals and chemists.

Maintain a detailed database of healthcare providers, appointments, feedback, and prescription trends.

Expand the customer base by identifying and targeting new doctors, hospitals, and pharmacy outlets.
3. Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with key decision-makers in the medical community.

Build trust and credibility with doctors by being a reliable source of product information and service.

Provide consistent follow-up, address product-related inquiries, and assist with samples, product literature, and support materials.
4. Sales Target Achievement:

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by the company.

Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies, and report insights to the marketing team.

Suggest strategies for improving market share and brand positioning.
5. Training and Product Knowledge:

Continuously upgrade knowledge on product lines, therapeutic areas, and medical advancements.

Attend product training sessions, seminars, and refresher courses organized by the company.

Stay updated on relevant pharmaceutical regulations, drug schedules, and ethical sales practices.
6. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain and submit daily call reports (DCR), weekly performance summaries, expense reports, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Accurately record prescription generation, customer feedback, and visit outcomes in CRM or reporting tools.

Ensure all data entry and documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
