Job Summary

Virtual Medical Scribing, using wearable glass technology, is a cutting-edge process developed by Augmedix Inc., a San Francisco based company. The first obvious question that comes to mind is – What is scribing? A scribe helps doctors in the USA accurately document patient encounters and charts into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) at the direction of the physician or practitioner, expediting outpatient flow and improving quality of care. A scribe also assists the practitioners in navigating the EHR and locating information. Essentially over time, a scribe develops a symbiotic relationship with the doctor by truly becoming the doctor’s shadow, thus having the chance to participate in the global healthcare industry, sitting at the Contech office in Ahmedabad.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• As Scribing is a live healthcare process complying with HIPAA guidelines, the candidate must be willing to work in US shift (India Night Shift).
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of conversational English with strong writing skills, correct grammar and spelling proficiency. Candidates having English as their first language are highly preferable.
• Candidates must have an education background in Medical/Allied Sciences (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, Biotech, Nursing, B. Pharm, M Pharm etc.)
• Strong ability to problem solves and multitasks, effectively organizing patient information and communicating with all clinical team members.
• Strong computer skills, quick and accurate typing speed are a must. An accurate typing speed of 60 wpm (words per minute) is highly preferable.
• Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly preferable
