• Training:Intensive 4-month training on English and Medicine knowledge for Scribing with online exposure to clinical visits.
  
• Stipend will be provided based on performance during training.
  

Overview: 

• Medical Scribing is a process where a Medical Scribe documents physician-patient visits on an EHR (electronic health record) online, in real time.
  

Job Description:

• The scribe will be responsible for managing US physician’s documentation on the electronic platform.
  
• The scribe will watch and listen to the physician-patient interaction online and will summarize the conversation on the electronic health record.
  
• This summarized note will reflect a patient’s complaints and a physician’s treatment plan.
  
• The note generated by the scribe will be used by the physician as a reference document. 

Key responsibilities:

• Listen, comprehend, and document the physician-patient interaction.
• Categorize and summarize the physician and patient interaction under different fields like History of Present Illness, Review of Systems, Physical Examination, Plan details, etc.
• Feed the summarized data in the electronic health record.
• Generate the chart note.

Skills required:

• Excellent English language skills, especially Written English.
• Basic computer skills and typing skills.
