Communicating with physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, other healthcare providers, and government agencies on behalf of patients
Resolving customer service issues by researching solutions to problems or requesting assistance from other departments
Counseling patients on their health conditions or helping them select insurance plans that best meet their needs
Explaining procedures to patients so that they can make informed decisions about their treatment options
Participating in meetings with other health care professionals to discuss treatment plans or other issues that affect patient care
