Qualifications :

For Medical Technologist Laboratory : (i) Essential: Passed Higher Secondary( 10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year diploma in Laboratory Technology from any institution recognized by the Government of West Bengal. Or One year diploma course in Laboratory Technology from any University/ Institution recognized by the Government of West Bengal, where the basic qualification for undergoing the said course is B.Sc. (ii) Desirable: One year training after acquiring diploma in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules 2003.

For Medical Technologist(Radio Diagnostics) : (i) Essential: Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech) from any institution recognized by the Government of West Bengal. (ii) Desirable: One year training after acquiring diploma in Radiography (Diagnosis) DRD (Tech.) recognized by the Government of West Bengal in the any Government Hospital or in a clinical Establishment licensed under West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules 2003. Or A post graduate diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech) from any recognized university.

For Medical Technologist( ECG) : (1) Essential: Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it's equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal. (ii) Desirable: One year training after acquiring diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in the any Government Hospital or in a clinical Establishment licensed under West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules 2003. Or A post graduate diploma in ECG Technology from any recognized university.

Age limit : Not less than 15 years and not more than 37 years as on 01/01/2017.
