Responsibilities
· It is responsible for designing and delivering web apps, from layout to function and according to
the business specifications.
· The individual will be responsible for integrating data from various back-end services and
databases.
· The role would entail building front-end Website architecture, improving user interactions on Web,
and developing necessary back-end applications
· Given the growing demand for mobile apps, the individual will also be expected to support cross-
platform optimization of the designed applications
· At Chubb, we believe in developing reusable assets. The individual should look to develop assets
that can be replicated and reused for various requirements across the business
· As a developer, the person will be involved in the project from conception to deployment
· API creation and enhancement are some of the additional responsibilities
· Person will be expected to stay abreast of any advancement in the programming and Web
application development space
Required knowledge, Skills and qualifications
· Overall 4-6 years of Web/App development using Mendix or any RAD tool.
· Experience with API /Microservice architecture (REST,JSON,XML)
· Experience with Front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
· Strong knowledge of building Microflows/Nanoflows in Mendix 8x/9x/10x
· Development experience with JAVA would be preferable.
· Experience in Data modelling and structures
· Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills
· In addition, the individual should have the following
· Able to work under tight deadlines
· Should be flexible to accommodate business requirements and work requests from different time
zones
· Excellent communication skills. The position requires constant interaction with stakeholders
across the company.
· Knowledge of insurance domain would be an added advantage
