EDII invites applications for the post of Mentor & Block Anchors under SVEP Project
1. Position - Mentor
2. Location: Telangana & Uttarakhand
3. Project Background: The Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) is being implemented as a sub-scheme under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to promote start-up enterprise in rural areas. Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is functioning as National Resource Organization (NRO) for the Programme. Under the aegis of Ministry of Rural Development, the Institute is implementing this program across 15 states in association with various State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM).
4. Qualification & Experience:
a) Relevant University qualification in a Management discipline (Business Administration/Rural Development or equivalent) with at least two (02) years of professional working experience.
b) Graduate in any stream with at least five (05 years) of professional working experience in the area of microenterprise promotion/working with communities.
c) Recent pass outs from premier Institutes (IRMA, TISS, EDII, NIRD, XIMB etc with Post Graduate qualifications may also be considered for the position as Young Professionals
d) The candidate must have experience in micro enterprise promotion or working with community Institutions. Experience of promoting collectives/producers companies is an added advantage.
e) The candidate should possess good documentation and reporting skills, computer literacy and good communication ability.
5. Type of Employment: On Contractual basis: The selected candidate may be posted anywhere in the country. Salary/fee will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
