Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Planning and developing merchandising strategies
2. Analyzing sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to determine product needs
3. Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays
4. Determining the need for and implementing product promotions, price changes, markdowns, clearouts, etc
5. Ensuring retail staff are well informed on product details and promotions
6. Liaising between vendor and company
7. Forecasting sales and profits
8. Managing budgets
9. Maintaining and tracking inventory
