Job Description

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on media preparation
2. Perform food and water swab tests
3. Perform pathogen testing
4. Work on quality documentation
5. Perform tests and other related activities as nominated
6. Check and maintain stocks of chemicals, consumables, and glassware
7. Maintain all workbooks registers and instrument logbooks and other relevant records up to date written in a specifically approved format as nominated
8. Perform internal calibrations or daily checks of the instrument as nominated
9. Maintain housekeeping of work area
10. Take care of work responsibilities of senior microbiologist in his or her absence
11. Carry out any other relevant work assigned from time to time by superiors
12. Work on equipment maintenance and quality documentation
