Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, AWS ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS), and event-driven architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable and secure microservices, integrating enterprise systems including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and ensuring high code quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Microservices Design and Development:

Design, build, and maintain RESTful and/or event-driven microservices in line with business requirements.
Develop loosely coupled, independently deployable services that communicate via APIs or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Break down legacy monolithic applications into microservices architecture with minimal disruption.

2. Backend and API Development:

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code in backend languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
Implement service-to-service communication protocols using REST, gRPC, or message queues.
Design and build secure, scalable APIs that meet performance and reliability standards.

3. Database Integration:

Integrate microservices with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Apply data modeling best practices, indexing, and data partitioning for optimal performance.
Ensure data consistency in distributed systems using event sourcing or eventual consistency principles where needed.

4. DevOps and CI/CD Integration:

Work closely with DevOps engineers to containerize services using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes or ECS.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools for automated testing and deployment.
Monitor, log, and troubleshoot issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance:

Write unit tests, integration tests, and contract tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Perform performance tuning and load testing to identify bottlenecks in microservices.

6. Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, QA, and DevOps.
Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, services, and system designs.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to user story estimation.
