Microwave engineer Job in For a Client of TeamLease Digital at Gurugram

Key Responsibilities

Plan, configure, install, integrate, and commission microwave links for telecom networks.

Perform microwave link planning, path profiling, and link budget calculations.

Conduct RF surveys and support LOS (Line of Sight) feasibility activities.

Configure and troubleshoot microwave radio equipment and transmission links.

Monitor and resolve microwave link issues, including high BER, low RSL, interference, fading, and link instability.

Perform alignment and optimization of microwave antennas and radio equipment.

Coordinate with NOC, field teams, vendors, and customers for issue resolution.

Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for microwave networks.

Analyze network alarms, performance reports, and transmission KPIs.

Ensure timely closure of network faults and customer-impacting issues.

Prepare technical reports, site documentation, and maintenance records.

Support new site rollout, migration, expansion, and modernization activities.

Follow telecom safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Microwave Transmission / Radio Transmission.

Good understanding of RF fundamentals, LOS, link budget, RSL, BER, fade margin, and modulation.

Knowledge of microwave antenna alignment and installation.

Experience in microwave link commissioning and troubleshooting.

Understanding of Ethernet, IP, VLAN, QoS, and transmission networks.

Knowledge of 1+0, 1+1, XPIC, and carrier aggregation concepts is preferred.

Familiarity with microwave network management systems and monitoring tools.

Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Telecom Microwave Transmission operations.

Experience with microwave equipment from major telecom vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, NEC, Ceragon, or Aviat will be an advantage.

Experience in telecom network rollout, O&M, integration, or transmission support will be preferred.

Qualification

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Electrical, or a related field.

Relevant telecom/microwave certification will be an added advantage.
