1. Description and Objectives of the Project: The aim of this project is to build a state-of-the-science loT (Internet of Things) enabled embedded system to automatically compute OND and ONSD for detecting elevated ICP (Intracranial pressure). This will involve -development, refinement and validation of automated ultrasound image-based novel algorithms to automatically detect and compute OND and ONSD. The developed algorithms wil be incorporated into an IoT embedded system module which can be interfaced with a portable USG machine for autonmated measurement of ONSD and ICP. The position is purely temporary and will be govemed by the funding agency rules & service conditions of Office of the Dean (Research & Consultancy), MNNIT Allahabad.

4. Essential Qualifications M. Tech. / M.E. in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Signal Processing/ Embedded Systems
5. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000.00 per month (Consolidated)
6. Desirable Experienee One year research experience in the area of image/ video processing, medical imaging, loT etc.
7. Other Benefits Accommodation may be available as per the availability and the Institute norms. Candidate selected for the JRF may register for Ph.D. if eligibility conditions, as set by institutc, is met by him/her. Facility of yearly leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be available as per applicable rules of the project staf
8. Tenure of Appointment Appointnient wvill be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of project. Project will end in March 2024.
Age Limit:
28 years on the last date of application (The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)
