We are looking for a Full Time person.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Servicing Engineer to join our technical support team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing smartphones and tablets from various brands. The engineer must be able to handle both hardware and software-related issues, perform component-level repairs, and ensure timely and quality service delivery to customers.
This position is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:

Inspect and diagnose issues in mobile phones, including hardware faults, software bugs, display issues, battery drainage, charging problems, and more.

Use tools like multimeters, software diagnostic apps, and oscilloscopes for detailed fault analysis.

Log all findings and update service job cards accordingly.
2. Mobile Phone Repair & Servicing:

Perform component-level repairs (e.g., replacing ICs, screens, charging ports, batteries, microphones, speakers, cameras, etc.).

Handle chip-level soldering/desoldering using rework stations or hot air guns.

Reassemble phones and conduct testing after repair to ensure full functionality.

Perform software flashing, unlocking, formatting, firmware updates, and OS reinstallation.
3. Customer Interaction:

Interact with customers to understand device issues and explain possible solutions and service charges.

Provide updates on repair timelines and offer basic usage tips or preventive maintenance advice post-repair.

Maintain professional behavior and empathy during customer interactions.
4. Quality Control:

Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards.

Test all functions of the device after repair (e.g., touchscreen, fingerprint sensor, camera, network signal, etc.).

Perform a final quality check before delivering the device to the customer.
5. Inventory & Spare Management:

Track use of spare parts and tools.
-
Request spare part replacements when stock is low.

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and use of tools and materials.
6. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain repair logs and update daily service reports.

Assist in warranty claim processing by documenting issues and repair efforts.

Ensure proper documentation of customer complaints and resolutions.
