Motor Vehicles Inspector (Technical)

Qualification : (a) Must have passed Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council; (b) Must have a diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution duly approved by AICTE/WBSCTE or its equivalent. (c) Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in a Workshop/ Factory of Automotive O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or O.E.M. authorized Workshop/ Service Centre duly registered by a competent Government/ Local Body authority; (d) Must possess a Driving License for heavy vehicles.

Qualification : (a) Must have a bachelor’s degree of a recognized University
(b) Must have the minimum physical standard as mentioned below:-
(i) Candidates of all categories (except Gorkha, Garwali, Rajbangsi and other Hill Tribes/ Scheduled Tribes) : Height : 170 cm., Chest : 86 cm. With expansion of 5 cm., Weight : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard
(ii) Gorkha, Garwali, Rajbangsi and other Hill Tribes/ Scheduled Tribes : Height : 160 cm, Chest : 81 cm with expansion of 5 cm, Weight : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard
Pay Band : Rs. 7100/- - Rs.37600/-
Age: Not below 18 years and not more than 32 years as on 1st January 2016. .
Scheme & Syllabus of Examination : The West Bengal Staff Selection Commission shall have the discretion to prescribe the scheme and syllabus for this examination.
Examination Fees & Processing Fees :
All categories except Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe : Examination Fee : Rs.200/-, Processing Fee : Rs. 20/-
Scheduled Caste : Processing Fee : Rs. 20/-
Scheduled Tribe : Processing Fee : Rs. 20/-
