Job Description

MSTC Ltd requires part-time medical advisor in the following discipline for its employees and their dependents, in the offices at MSTC, Kolkata:

1. Name of the Post: Part Time/ Visiting Medical Advisor

2. A Part –time Medical Advisor On Contractual Basis In Allopathic And General Medicine:

A) Qualification & Experience: MBBS Having Valid Registration With Medical Council Of India (Mci). Mds/ Medical Practitioners Attached With Any Hospital/ Established Nursing Home Would Be Preferred.

B) Working Hours: The Engagement Shall Be Part Time For 4 Hours [1.00 P.m. To 5.00 P.m.] On All Working Days.

C) Honorarium: : Consolidated Rs. 50,000/- Per Month. The Remuneration Shall Be Inclusive Of All Pay And Allowances.

3. A Part –time Homeopathic Medical Advisor On Contractual Basis For Its Offices At Mstc, Kolkata.

A) Qualification & Experience: BHMS Degree Course (Including One-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship) In Homoeopathy At Any Recognized University/institute Of Homeopathy In India.

B) Working Hours: : The Engagement Shall Be Part Time For 2 Hours [11:00 A.m. To 1.00 P.m.] On 2 Working Days.

C) Honorarium: Consolidated Rs.20,000/- Per Month. The Remuneration Shall Be Inclusive Of All Pay And Allowances.

4. A Part –time Ayurvedic Medical Advisor On Contractual Basis For Its Offices At Mstc, Kolkata.

A) Qualification & Experience: : BAMS. Medical Practitioners Attached With Any Ayurvedic Hospital/ Established Nursing Home Would Be Preferred.

B) Working Hours: The Engagement Shall Be Part Time For 2 Hours [11:00a.m. To 1.00 P.m.] On 2 Working Days.

C) Honorarium: Consolidated Rs. 20,000/- Per Month. The Remuneration Shall Be Inclusive Of All Pay And Allowances.

5. The above engagements shall be for an initial period of 01 (one) year (extendable on mutual consent). 

Age Limit: Upto 62 years

About Company

MSTC Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. The company was set up in 9th September 1964 to act as a regulating authority for export of ferrous scrap with an investment of Rs 6 lakh. Government of India, Members ofSteel Arc Furnace Association and members of ISSAI had made with the investment. MSTC became a subsidiary of SAIL in 1974. In 1982, it got delinked from SAIL and became an independent company under Ministry of  Steel. It was a canalizing agency for import of ferrous scrap till 1992.
