Name of the position : Multi Tasking staff (MTS)/No of vacancies: 01 UR
Name of the Projects:i. Pre-Clinical Tumorigenicity Eualuation Of Vero Cell Lines in Athymic Nude Mice, supported by Indian Immunological Limited, Hyderabad
ii. 'Compositional Analysis and Pte Clinical Safety (Regulatory studies) evaluation of Parboiled Rice enriched with multiple micronutrients supported by Sundar Diabetics Dezire Pvt Ltd., Chennai'.
iii. Pre-clinical efficacy (immunie modulatory) and safety (Regulatory Toxicologyt) evaluation of Ayush formulation AyushKwath supported by Ministyr of AYUSH (EMR Scheme).
Essential Qualifications : 10th Pass/ High School/ Metric/ equivalent with two years
experience in laboratory work
experience in laboratory work
Desirable: Experience in Handling the experimental animals
Consolidated salary : Rs.15,800/- per month fixed without any allowances.
Tenure :Initially for five months and extendable as per the projects requirement. .
Place of work: ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.
Age Limit:25 years. Age relaxation is admissible as prr ICMR guideline

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a 'Deficiency Disease Enquiry' and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged 'Nutrition Research Laboratories' (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
