Sports Trainees recruitment in Mumbai Port Trust

Age Limit: 18 years to 26 years as on 8/06/2016.
The Sports Trainees will be considered if they have : A) Represented the Country in an international competition. and /or B) Represented a State in a national competition. and/or C) Represented combined Universities team in any national competition. and / or D) Represented a University in Inter –University tournament conducted by University Sports Control Board.
Selection will be based on their achievements in the sports career as also their performance during the trials conducted. The Selected Sports Trainees will be considered for appointment on contract basis for a period of 10 months on the stipulated terms and conditions.
Selected Sports Trainees will be eligible for I) Stipend : Rs. 10,000/- per month II) Mediclaim + Accident Insurance = Rs. 3,500/- for a year III) Kit Expenses + Allowances = Rs. 10,000/- per annum IV) Accommodation = On sharing basis.
The Selected Sports trainees will be subjected to a Physical fitness test in addition to the prescribed Medical Examination.
Application Fee: Application form can be obtained on payment of Rs.100/- in Cash from the office of Mumbai Port Trust Sports Club, 2nd Floor, Railway Manager’s building, Ramjibhai Kamani Marg, Near Vasant Hotel, Ballard Estate, Mumbai-400 001, on any working day between 11.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The application form can also be downloaded from. However, the downloaded application form should be submitted accompanied by Demand Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of “Mumbai Port Trust Sports Club” Payable at Mumbai. The cover shall be superscribed with the name of the sports discipline applied for.
