Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, including Divinity, from a Recognized University.

Pay Scale : Rs.15,600 – 39,100
Secretariat Assistant (Class-III Non Gazetted) /30 Post
Pay Scale : Rs. 9,300 – 34,800
Record Keeper/01 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.5,200 – 20,200
Age as on 01-01-2016 : 21- 30 yrs.
Physical Fitness: A candidate should be of sound health both mentally and physically, and be free from organic defects or bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his duties. Candidates should not be less than 5 feet 2 inches in height and chest measurement 32 inches in deflated condition, with expansion capacity of one and half inches in case of ST/SC candidates, and 5 feet 4 inches in height, and chest measurement of 33 inches, in respect of other candidates. (A candidate for direct recruitment shall be required to undergo medical examination before final appointment to the service)
Eye Sight: A person having colour blindness. Eye sight below minimum distance vision of 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction.
Application Fee : Candidates who apply individually from any CSC may make payment by cash a sum of Rs. 300 (rupees three hundred only) for examination fee and additional Rs. 50 (rupees fifty only) for CSC service charge which includes scanning, filling up of eForm and transaction fee.

The Nagaland Public Service Commission was set up in 1965 with a composition of one Chairman and two Members. The composition was revised in 1985 by addition of more Member. In 2007 the strength of members of the Commission was increased to 4 nos. Presently there are 1(one) Chairman and 4(four) Members.
