Essential Qualifications: MBBS degree with post-graduation in Community Medicine/ Public Health (degree/diploma in PSM/Epidemiology or degree in Health Care Management/Clinical Research/Population Sciences. Minimum 5 years of experience in disease surveillance/public health management/public health epidemiology/public health research
Desirable Qualifications: Working knowledge of Biostatistics /statistical package (Epi Info, SPSS, R, STATA. Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word PowerPoint Publications in peer-reviewed journal Experience in NACP at national/state level preferred Proficiency in Hindi and English
Job Requirement: Primary job location at ICMR NARI but include field visit as per Nodal officer instruction. TO Support Implementation of Surveillance &Epidemiological activities. Include epidemiological investigations, verbal autopsy, supportive supervision of surveillance, capacity building, periodic review etc. in the facility/community field settings Analysis of program data, Manuscript writing, development of Operational Manuals Nodal officers (ICMR-NARI) and NACO as required Other Surveillance& EpidemiologY under NACP related work as assigned by Nodal officer at ICMR-NARI. Provide epidemiological support at the level of the region, state, DAPCU as required.
