National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) invites applications for the position of Laboratory Technician

1. Name of the Post: Laboratory Technician (Technician III) (Will be posted at ICMR-NARI Laboratory)

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Essential Qualification: 12th Pass with science subjects and Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one-year Diploma in medical laboratory Technician with one-year laboratory experience or two years Laboratory experience. *B.Sc. the degree will be treated as a Three-year experience.

4. Desirable qualification: Two years of experience of performing serological and molecular assays.

5. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 18,000/-

6. Job Responsibility:

i) Sample receiving and entry

ii) Processing of samples for serological and molecular diagnostic assays, molecular tests for CT/NG and sample storage and aliquotes.

iii) Report generation and dispatch to the clinic.

iv) Order laboratory kits, reagents and consumables related to the trial and biomedical waste disposal for the laboratory testing done.

v) Data Entry.
