National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) invites application for the position Senior Scientist

Pay level in pay matrix/ Pay matrix: (₹ 78,800-2,09200)

Total emoluments (approximate): 1,26,500 /

Essential educational qualifications & experience: Ph.D. in any science subject in the area of Pharmacognosy/ Chemotaxonomy followed by 02 years experience in the relevant area.

Desirable: The candidate should have experience of collection of medicinal plants from the wild, quality control of raw materials, monographic studies, chemotaxonomic studies of medicinal plants, and herbal drug development. The claims must be supported by publications/patents in the abovementioned areas.

Job specification: The selected candidate is expected to take up monographic and chemotaxonomic studies for identification of Quality planting/raw materials (QPM/QRM), herbal product development, and handling of instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, GCMS-MS
