Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master's degree in Public Health / Population Studies/Demography/Health Economics/Sociology from a recognized university with four years of research experience in relevant research field. OR 2nd Class Master's degree in Public Health or Population Studies +PhD from a recognized university with four years of research experience in relevant research field.
Place of posting NICPR, Noida and as per requirement of the Project
Emoluments: INR 51,000/- per month + INR 6,660 (HRA)
Duration of Project: Up to July,2022
Duration of Contract: Six Months
Project: ICMR-Task Force Study on "Smokeless Tobacco and Reproductive & Maternal Health (1CMR SLT-RMH study)", ICMR- NICPR. Noida
Nature of Duties: Preparation of scientific manuscript based on the findings of the study Would be essential task. Involved in analyzing large-scale nationally representative surveys such as NFHS, NSSO, GATS etc. Involved in preparing the study report along with policy briefs
Preference: At least two publications in peer-reviewed journals listed in Science Citation Indexed (SC) on tobacco, maternal and child health and non- communicable diseases. Good knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative techniques in health research. Excellent command in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using STATA, R, NVivo, ATLAS.ti etc. software's. Proficiency in analyzing large-scale surveys like NFHS/GATS/NSSO etc. Ability to plan and execute research paners indenendentlx
Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 Years
