Assistant Professor/ Research Associate Jobs position in National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) on Contract Basis
Assistant Professor
Qualification : i) A candidate should have a doctoral degree. ii) He/she should have a first class or equivalent at the PG degree or be qualified as a Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost & Works Accountant. For Economics discipline, minimum percentage of marks is 55% at PG/Masters level. iii) Either the doctoral degree or the PG degree should be in an appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. iv) Candidate should have a minimum experience of 3 years in teaching/research/industry/professional. In exceptional cases, the condition of 3 years of experience can be relaxed.

The National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) was set up in 1993 on the basis of a proposal made by Ministry of Finance, which was approved by the Union Cabinet. The Union Cabinet envisaged that NIFM would begin as a training institution for officers recruited by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) through the annual Civil Service Examinations and allocated to the various services responsible for manning senior and top management posts dealing with accounts and finance in the Government of India.
