Designation - Govt -  Nature Cure Therapist

Number of Job Vacancies -  12

Educational and other Qualifications required for the post

(a) Treatment Assistant Training Course (TATC) of one year’s duration from NIN or CCRYN 
(b) One year work experience after TATC in Naturopathy Hospital/ Institute/ Organization. 

OR 
(a) Nursing Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga Therapy (NDNYT) Course from NIN, Pune 
(b)Similar Certificate or Diploma of not less than one year duration from a Govt. Institute or College; and 
(c) One Year work experience in Naturopathy hospital of minimum 10 beds after Certificate or Diploma Course. 

Desirable: 
1. Proficiency in Hindi and English languages. 
2. Knowledge of Computer operation.
 
Remuneration
  •  Rs. 22000/- Consolidated
Age limit
  •  Not exceeding - 40 Years

National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune is an autonomous body functioning under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. NIN is located at a historical place admeasuring 1.6 acres of Land called as 'Bapu Bhavan' situated at Tadiwala Road, behind Pune Railway Station, Pune.'Bapu Bhavan' is named after Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, who had made this Institution his home. Formerly this place was known as 'Nature Cure Clinic and Sanatorium', managed by Late Dr. Dinshaw K. Mehta.In 1945, “AII India Nature Cure Foundation Trust” was established in this Centre and Mahatma Gandhi became its lifelong Chairman.He stayed here for 156 days on various occasion from the year 1944, Whenever he was in Pune, to conduct his own Naturopathy experiments.  Gandhiji had conducted many National and International activities staying here. Gandhiji's life is a source of guidance and a sacred heritage to us. Dr Dinshaw K Mehta handed over this center to Government of India on 17-03-1975 for starting National institute of Naturopathy.Putting the said institution on a permanent basis, with the ultimate object of creating from it a “Nature cure university” the National institute of Naturopathy, Pune came into existence on 22.12. 1986.  This Institute has a 'Governing Body' headed by the Union Minister of AYUSH as its President.
