Technical Officer/ Project Assistant Jobs opportunity in National Institute of Nutrition
Project Title : "Comprehensive National Nutrition Survey (CNNS)"
Technical Officer
No. of Vacancy : 1 (UR)
Qualifications : Graduate in Science from a recognized university with one year DMLT course or three year field/ lab experience from a recognized institution. M.Sc / B.E/ B.Tech degree shall be treated equal to 2 years exp.
Desirable : Method development and handling of HPLC. Atomic absorption spectrophotometer/ mass spectrometry. Data management knowledge of computer software.
Salary : Rs.29,607-00 per month fixed without any allowances.
Project Assistant
No. of Vacancy : 1 (UR)
Qualifications : Graduate in Science from a recognized university with one year DMLT course or one year field/ lab experience from a recognized institution.
Desirable : Handling of HPLC, AAS, Mass spectrometry Knowledge of use of various computer software.
Salary : Rs.28,755-00 per month fixed without any allowances.
Age Limit : As per ICMR guidelines.
Selection Procedure : Written Test/ Skill Test will be conducted to the eligible candidates found to be eligible in the screening of the applications.

About Company
National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’ Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit blossomed into a "Deficiency Disease Enquiry" and later in 1928, emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr. McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
