National Institute Of Oceanography Mumbai (NIO Mumbai) invites applications for the position of Project Associate I
CSIR – National Institute of Oceanography, a constituent national laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Institute (CSIR), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the following project staff, purely on a temporary contractual basis to carry out research work on the R&D project and to be engaged in NIO Regional Centre Mumbai.
1. Position: Project Associate-I
2. No. of. Posts: 02
3. Essential Qualification: M.Sc Marine Science / Marine Biology with NET/GATE qualification
4. Desirable Qualification & Job Requirement Benthic sample collection and taxonomic analysis. The selected candidates will be required to participate in deep-sea cruises, carry out work on biological sample collection, analysis, processing of data and prepare reports related to projects.
5. Monthly Emoluments (Rs.): Rs.31000 /- Plus HRA as per rules
6. Project Title and Vacancy Details: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Study under Polymetallic Nodules (PMN) program. Vacancy Code GAP2128/2235-22 Tenure: 11 Months
