Project Title and code : Geological processes in the Indian Ocean – Understanding the input fluxes, sinks and Paleoceanography (GEOSINKS) -- PSC0106
Qualification : M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech) Geology/ Applied Geology/ Marine Geology/ Marine Science (specialization in Marine Geology). Candidates who have cleared CSIR-UGC NET (LS) Exam may be considered for JRF(LS) position. Desirable : Ocean going experience. Knowledge of computer software like MS Office and Excel. Should have aptitude to carry out independent research. To have a valid passport. Acquaintance and capability to operate the analytical equipments and other laboratory work
Place of Posting : Goa
Consolidated Stipend per month : Rs.16000/-
Job Requirement : To support scientists in laboratory as well as onboard research ship for data/sample collection and data/sample processing
