5. Qualifications and Experience: Graduation from national premier institutions like IITs, NITs, IIIT etc.

6. Essential Experience:

i. Minimum 20 years professional experience in the area of Technology, that includes heading large projects and teams, and innovation activities with tangible outcomes.

ii. Minimum two years’ experience with Government / Government funded organizations.

7. Desirable Experience:

a. Experience of interacting with media

b. Project Management

c. Experience of initiatives in Rural Development

d. Facilitating leadership activities in organization

e. Good understanding of the administrative and managerial aspects of a higher educational institute involved in rural development or agriculture for development

8. Job Description:

i. Facilitate the Director General office with strategic plans and innovation in Technology for Rural Development, for taking the organization’s Vision and Mission forward

ii. Efficient coordination and communication of the Director General office with internal, external, and international organizations and departments like, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, other Ministries of GoI, Departments of United Nations Organization, State Institute of Rural Development, and Social Organizations.

iii. Ideate development of tools and processes to achieve and sustain execution excellence.

iv. Enable effective dissemination of technologydriven outputs of NIRDPR with all stakeholders and media

v. Evaluate technologies and models for the benefit of rural stakeholders.

vi. Contribute to improvement in the quality of process and procedures in NIRDPR through technologydriven solutions

9. Remuneration: 90,000/- INR

Age Limit:

55 years; Relaxation in the upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
