National Institute Of Virology (NIV) invites application for the position Consultant (Scientific - Non-Medical) - Full Time
Salary: Maximum of Rs. 1,00,000/- per month depending upon educational qualification, experience, last pay drawn.
Essential: M.Sc., Ph.D. in Life Science* with research and development experience and published papers.
Desirable: Retired Professor with specialization in Life Science* having administrative experience at University level in management of post graduate course. Familiarity with administration/Acade mics of Savitribai Phule Pune University will be preferred.
Job Description:
(i) Teaching (Practical and theory courses) to M.Sc. Virology students in subjects like Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Analytical Techniques, etc.
(ii) Administrative work related to M.Sc. Virology and Ph.D. courses of ICMR-NIV.
(iii) Liaise with outside experts for Guest Lectures/Field visits etc.
(iv) Overall management of NIV Academic Cell including M.Sc. Virolog & Ph.D. courses at ICMR-NIV.
(v) Co-ordination & Liaisoning with Savitribai Phule Pune University and other concerned agencies for smooth implementation of the courses.
